Through community outreach, capacity building, and strategic partnerships, NPHAI is strengthening public health awareness and action across Nigeria.

Executive Summary

Since its inception, NPHAI has made remarkable progress in advancing public health. The organization has implemented innovative solutions to address pressing global health challenges such as antimicrobial resistance (AMR), while also promoting maternal and child health, and improving water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) awareness in undeserved communities. The organization has also championed youth mental health and well-being, strengthened the capacity of the next generation of public health advocates through targeted training and mentorship, and leveraged social media and technology to deliver vital public health and safety information to diverse audiences. NPHAI have partnered with local communities, governmental and non-governmental organizations, schools, academic institutions, local associations as well as international bodies to drive targeted and evidence-based interventions that promote the well-being of humans, animals and the environment. NPHAI remain committed to maintaining both local and global impact for the public good.
